“Kastav Ghost Tour” is a hybrid form of cultural event that combines elements of a guided tourist tour with a staged performance, dedicated to the natural forces and supernatural beings that traditional lore associates with the wilderness.
Spread across various points along the road leading into the Kastav forest, actors embody supernatural creatures and, through interaction with the audience, bring to life a bygone time in which the magical intertwined with the real, and the forces of the wild — suppressed by modern civilization — regain their original power for one night.
